Who’d have thought that a mobile phone would turn out to be an invaluable aid to improving your shooting. Last Saturday a team came to Hau Ora Clays for a Corporate Shoot. We started with the usual team shoot with some of the team taking photos and video footage of the others shooting. When one of the team started playing back the video the sound of the shot was a little odd. A quick look at the video revealed the reason; it was shot in ultra slow motion.
We experimented with taking videos on the phone capturing the moment the clay broke and the results were quite amazing. With slow motion video capability we could see the shot string in the air and see where it was relative to the target. We have all had frustrating experiences pulling the trigger and being perplexed that the clay didn’t break or the bird drop but now we will be able to see exactly where each shot has gone.
Needless to say Hau Ora clays will be equipping itself with one of these marvellous coaching aids this week. If you would like to book clay shooting session on camera call Paul on 021 680053 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
